About Anna Davern. Rocks.

Inspired by the great diamonds of the world and the stories that accompany them  (and believing that everyone should be able to feel like royalty), Anna Davern cleverly uses the printing technique of sublimation to transfer astounding images of diamonds and coloured gemstones onto thin, light weight sheets of aluminium. She then cuts and constructs them into large but lightweight items of jewellery which will add a touch of drama and playfulness to any occasion.

Anna has been making jewellery in Melbourne, Australia since the 1990's. She originally studied jewellery at Sydney College of the Arts and followed that up with post graduate studies at RMIT in Melbourne. Her practice straddles the visual arts, jewellery, fashion and education. She teaches, writes, curates and primarily makes jewellery and objects from the Northcity4 studios in Brunswick, Melbourne. Anna is a well-respected artist within the Australian contemporary jewellery and craft communities. You can see more of her other ranges of jewellery when she gets her shit together to fix her old website.
